Which Fault Do You Actually Have?
Cracked or shattered glass
Visible physical damage, spidering cracks, or missing chunks of the panel. This is a genuine screen replacement — usually the most straightforward fix.
Flickering, lines, or colour bleed
Image is present but distorted. Often the panel itself, but sometimes a loose display cable (much cheaper to fix) — our diagnostic tells the difference before you're quoted.
Completely black, but the laptop is on
Fans spinning, keyboard lights on, but no image at all. This is frequently not the screen — could be the graphics card, backlight, or display cable. Worth a free diagnostic before assuming the worst.

Why does the price depend on panel type instead of one flat rate?
Because the panel itself is the variable cost, not our labour. A standard HD panel costs us far less to source than a 4K or touchscreen one, so a single flat rate would either overcharge simple repairs or undercharge complex ones. You get an exact quote once we've identified your model.
My screen is black but the laptop still turns on — is that still a screen repair?
Not always — this is one of the most commonly misdiagnosed faults. It can be the panel, the backlight, the display cable, or occasionally the graphics chip. Our free diagnostic identifies which before you're quoted for a screen you might not actually need.
How long does a screen replacement take?
If we have the panel in stock, often same-day to next-day. Less common panel types (high-res, touchscreen, or older discontinued models) may take 1-3 days while we source the exact part.
